Corinthians 1:20 NKJ
For all the promises of God in
Him are Yes and in Him Amen. to the glory of God
through us.
The
Amplified Bible says:
For as many as are the
promises of God, they ALL find their Yes [answer] in
Him [Christ].
For this reason we also utter Amen (so be it) to God
through Him [In His Person and by His agency] to the
glory of God.
Folks God
is for us. He is amplifying that in my spirit
today, what a comfort and encouragement.
We can know
beyond all doubt that He is for us. We hear so
much tragedy around us and it even knocks at our own
doors. but we have this hope that he has not
lied to us
(Ps:103:14:)
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that
we are dust. (KJV)
He knows
what we can handle and promises not to place anymore
on us than we can bear. Though the load may
seem to be too heavy we always find ourselves on the
other side. That is so hard to remember as you
labor with the weight of the burden. But, all the
promises we have read through the years really are
ours to keep. He promises us health, provision,
joy, peace,strength, a sound mind, etc. we can
go on forever, I have found that in my walk
with him as long as I stayed focused on him, no
matter the storm, there is a calmness that
prevails. Its when I focus inward to myself and
not Him that life becomes overwhelming. We can
know peace through great adversity. I
have. and I have also focused on the
storm. Does that change what his word
says? All the promises are yes and Amen.
No not it the least. For every temptation there
is a way of escape. For every trial there is a
refining, for every storm there is a sunrise,
and a new day. The things of this world
are only temporary and our circumstances are subject
to change at any given moment. Forever his word
is settled in heaven. And the promise is right
there when I am ready to walk TO it and not away from
it.
Verses 21
& 22 (NKJ) says:
Now he who establishes us with
you in Christ, and has anointed us in God, who also
has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts,
as a guarantee.
So we have
the guarantee, it is sealed in our hearts, we need
only follow the Spirit, He has established us in
Christ. What a blessing. We can know that
no matter what it looks like, we are established in
Christ. Rooted in Him, built up together in
Him. Seated with him in heavenly places.
He is for you today. He is on your side!
He will cause our thoughts to become agreeable to His
will, and so shall our plans be established and
succeed.
I hope you
